lol. I did something similar to that. After girlfriend and I got out of english class back in high school, she turns to me and asks, "Hey so what are you gonna do your oratorical on?"
Me, being an incredibly decisive person at the time, said the first thing that was on my mind. "Cheese."
Gf: wtf? o.O
Two weeks later, I did a well researched oratorical on cheese, including how it pervades our culture.
I know it's been a long time, but can you still remember WISH dorm in your freshman year? And the girl one year younger than you who always was reading on couches and practicing Japanese flashcards, called "Megan"?? Well....*dances around*
I got into JET this year as well! I'm in the CIR position, and I'm going to be in Sapporo, which isn't (that) far away from where you are! And - I just friended you. I hope that's okay! I've been having a great time reading your archives... :D
