I was more referring to the lack of any characters using western-style archery in manga. I made a request over at free_manga and the response...seriously, Japan, WHERE IS YOUR NATIONAL PRIDE IN THE LACK OF KYUDO WHAT THE HECK? A BAZILLION GAZILLION SAMURAIS USING KATANA AND ZILCH OF KYUDO?

And unfortunately Fire Emblem has no games for the PS2 or Game Boy color, and my sister has the GB Advance, so there goes my luck. T_T

Well, I was really referring to a lack of archer characters in manga. I made a request over at free_manga and...the lack of literally ANY western-style archery depresses me greatly, and precious few of even kyudo (seriously, Japan, what is WITH YOU? You have AMERICAN FOOTBALL with Eyeshield 21 and freaking Go with Hikaru no Go, EXCUSE ME WHERE IS YOUR NATIONAL PRIDE?)

Well, considering the amount of kyudo in manga (which, according to the recommendations, comes up to the grand whopping total of seven. Seven, versus the bazillion gazillion katana-wielding characters in existence), I very much doubt there's ever going to be an anime...>>
