Oh (Canadian)Netflix. We have been having such a roller coaster few days - I've laughed, I've cried, I've started to drown in nostalgia, and I've been a little baffled.

Mostly that you recommended me Blue Crush because I put a zombie movie on my list. I'm guessing one of the actors was in the zombie movie but maaan. I almost wish there was ( Read more... )

Awesome!! I have ... a scary number of movies in my Netflix 'to watch' list. But I plan on making a dent in them - sometime. And I may save all the horror movies for October.

Okay! Disclaimer about me and Canadian film ... I think a lot of it is not for me. I am now realizing that is not true, and just like any country we have good, bad and indifferent (to me) movies.

But as far as horror flicks go there is ...

Fido zombies! Black comedy! Very nice production values (which is not a given with a lot of Canadian film). I ADORE this movie.

Suck was filmed in Toronto, and is about rock n roll vampires. And Alice Cooper is in it. And so is Malcom McDowell with an eye-patch! I ... started but did not finish this movie because I got distracted by something else, and then I had to return it to the library. BUT, the part I watched was funny. Its more black comedy then scary.

Black Christmas (the original) is actually a Canadian horror film, and shot in Toronto. I was shocked when I found this out a couple of years ago.

Oh thank you! I've seen several of these (Splice, Ginger Snaps, Fido) and have Suck in my queue for October. Good, maybe I'm not as secluded as I though I was. Thanks for the offers, I will look them all up to see if they're available on Netflix IW since I'm getting rid of the disc part by the end of the month due to the rate increases.

And I looked up that Seance and it has that same goofy blurb in American Netflix too, when you hover over it. :)
