So I didn't realize until tonight (when I was stuck going Who IS that guy whilst watching Defying Gravity) that Sam's dad on Reaper was played by the same guy who was the Captain on Breaker High. Which amused me in a kind of 'Tyler Labine was on both of those shows as well!' kind of way
