Tux Died

Tux was at least 17 yrs old. He showed up at our house 3yrs ago - we didn't expect to love him so much, but he was a big fella that just loved you until you gave in

Not to mention mother has had to deal with me and him on her own. *sigh* stupid body.

I'm sorry to hear about Tux - and what a time for him to go. You must have many wonderful memories of him though, so hold on tight to those. *hugs*

We got a condolence card from the vet today. Anyone who'd ever worked with Tux signed off on it. They loved him just as much as we did.

I know he was a happy boy, and that is what makes loosing him more bearable. He was loved and so loving. I think him dying while I was away has made it easier not harder for me to accept (guilt aside). Because I didn't see him that way, all I have of him are happy memories.
