For realsies! I was thinking it looked so GQ, i tried to color and crop it so you couldn't really tell what scene it was from even though you can totally still tell. HE'S A PRETTY DUDE, IS ALL.
I downloaded Drive but haven't watched it yet! I wasn't all too enthused before it started, but all i've been hearing is that it's pretty entertaining. And there's that guy in it who used to be on some space show, i dunno. WHOEVER HE IS.
HAY SO. #12? Where have you been all my life? I never mentioned it when I commented on the covers, but can I just say how awesome you made her look? She looked all painted and pulpy, with the texture very much like a McGinnis painting. I was going to leave another comment and then I felt creepy.

#12, and #19 with the goddamn pretty emo colors and well...well I really like it when Jim is emo. It's a sickness. Caused by Jim's Emo Wig of Despair.
Dude, that's awesome, because that's totally what i was going for when i was messing around with the coloring. And plus the lighting in the original photograph and all the pink already lent itself to looking all pinup-like! That made it eeeeasy.
I think the Wig of Despair is actually an entirely intentional metaphor for Jim's current emotional state. He's flattened and sad and fake and mismatched and always concealing the true beauty and goodness that lies beneath. Only when he has accepted himself will he truly be free of the wig. ...Also, when Krasinski's hair grows out.
Oh, you're the best really. These are lovely and colourful and pretty and good. The Harry Potter one's so good it makes me wanna watch those movies (which I refuse to). I'm a-taking a few (basically all) Thank you very much.
Thank you! The HP movies are alright, they've got some moments and the kids are cute. Nowhere near as good as the books, but hey, that's how it goes. They're mostly worth it just because the third movie was AWESOME.
I might see it after the series ends. Mostly I don't want to watch it because I don't want to associate the actors with the characters when I read the books. Because all the actors look silly. HELLO, LUPIN IN MY BRAIN IS HOT. Not goofy.
I was worried about that too! I haaaaate having movies screw with my imagination in terms of how i view book universes and characters. But going back to reread i found that my original image of everything remained intact. I think because the books are generally so much more detailed than the movies, it's just... you can still kinda separate them, ya know? At least i can! And yeah, imaginary Lupin is WAY HOTTER.

What is this 30 Rock? I hear about it a lot and I see the ads on TV but since I cannot be assed to move from my computer I never get to see it. It looks like some kind of GORGEOUS though, but that may just be you using your amazing powers of makinganythinglooklikegold again.

30 Rock is an awesome half-hour comedy about behind the scenes of a comedy show! It is basically Studio 60 in sitcom form, except HILARIOUS AND BETTER.
X-Files, i know, right? I've had those ones sitting around forever, i can't even remember why i made them except maybe i was going through a little period of nostalgia like i sometimes do. Aw. :( And hey, you should catch up with Lost! It's very hit-or-miss with the suckiness, but lately it's been pretty entertaining again.

So. Anyway. Your icons are always so clean and filled with pretty colors and I am pretty close to licking my screen to mostly...... every single one. Especially the 30 Rock ones. And the House ones. And the Lost ones (I remember when I used to like the show! Ahhhh, yesteryears...)
You DO need a Liz and Floyd icon! So do i! SO DOES EVERYONE.
I always think of LJ icons as fanart candy, which is pretty appropriate considering my icon posts DO look like an assortment of brightly colored sweets. ...And they make you fat and rot your teeth!
So pretty! I loooooooooove the caps from that scene, with it being all nighttimey in the city and the lights in the background and the two of them being so friggin cute. GOOD CHOICE.
