i managed to get lanolin on the only pair of jeans i have that do not currently fall off. they've been through the laundry once and the stain is still there - will this ever come out or have i lost my only pair of jeans that fit???
not yet. I guess I will try that next. i look so trashy right now with my big old lanolin stains on my legs. that's what I get for warming the stuff up too much. it's either too solid or too drippy. GOLDILOCKS WHERE ARE YOU???
If you can find a product called Goop, that will do it. I usually get it at hardware stores or auto supply stores. NOT the all-purpose glue of the same name -- the hand cleaner. It comes in a tub. You work it into the DRY cloth with your fingernails, let it sit, and then wash as normal.
thanks I know exactly what you are talking about and i think we may have some in the garage. I take it that this has worked for you in the past? (and there may be a you and glue joke in there somewhere :))
It got cheese fondue out of a silk dress, it can do anything. I've also used it to remove spinning wheel grease stains from a white T-shirt, and to clean up the horrific apocalypse that happened when my husband ran a load of clothes through the dryer with a Chapstick.
