[Well, if you ran into Ammy earlier, you would have seen her staring at the bubble. And see her thinking about herself and the bubble. And that appears in the thought bubble in the thought bubble. And that goes on long enough to make a person cross-eyed ( Read more... )

[Masamune stops in his tracks when he sees the familiar wolf. His eye instantly shifts to the thought bubble trailing after her, to which he quirks a brow.]

Aah? . . . Mother's Day?

[Fire . . . it's fire! And it sparks something in him, if the flicker in his eye is any indication.

He leans on one leg and crosses his arms.]

Got any other tricks, Sun Goddess?

Grr.

[She licks her paw, lowering her body. Seems she'll just be showing you!]

[That's fine by him! He doesn't move or blink. She has his undivided attention.]

[She growls for a bit, before making the first lunge. The mirror hovering over her back swung, becoming a weapon.]

[His right hand hovers over his top left hilt as she approaches. When the mirror swings, his eye widens and he draws his sword in an angle so that he might block the odd weapon.]

[It's blunt, but it's incredibly heavy and moving with a lot of momentum. The block makes her weapon bounce off, and she snarls in annoyance. But if the bubble is any indication, she's not annoyed in the slightest - she's actually eager for a good brawl.

The weapon shifts, to that of a rosary hovering around her neck like a collar. Snatching one bead in her mouth, she flicked the entire thing like a whip, divine light threading the rosary together.]

[The initial block took enough effort to push back. For that reason, Masamune's not about to intercept another attack, even if the weapon's in a different form.

He leaps a couple feet into the air to dodge the rosary. There, he begins to descend with his sword pointed at her, accelerating with each second he falls.]

[With a loud snarl, she does a skillful pair of backflips, immediately leaping up once, then kicking off of the air in a double jump. She switches her weapon to a massively heavy glaive, bringing it down hard and fast to bludgeon him with it.]

[Now at the height disadvantage, he shifts to face up in order to see her next move. He raises the sword before him in a diagonal motion. The glaive hits the blade, and the awesome force behind the blow launches Masamune towards the ground.

He backflips and lands on his feet, though he has to take a second to fully recover from the unpleasant landing. That was jarring. He sheathes his sword; his hand hovers over the hilts of the three swords on his left side.]

That's good. Let's see how this goes.

[You're a pretty fun guy, yourself. The colors in her bubble seem to indicate that she's very pleased.]

[He's not done yet. With a smirk, he draws all three swords on his left side, each hilt held between the fingers of his right hand. The swords on his other side remain untouched -- for now.]

It's time to go crazy.

[Let's get this party started, Sun Goddess!

He lunges forward, ready to swipe down at her as though he were wielding claws. The maneuver is basic and in the norm, despite the faint blue glow surrounding him as he approaches.]

[Briefly, in an instant, the canvas unrolls in the bubble, along with a very swift and brief stroke, right across Masamune. In the fraction of a second it took to draw it, the parry takes effect, and Ammy sets her weapon back to the reflector.

Gonna take a more brush-based approach!]

[Just as Masamune wonders what's supposed to be happening in the bubble, some unknown force slams into him. He stumbles back, bewildered yet excited all the same.

All right. If that's how she's going to play it -- he draws the swords back. Electricity begins to crackle around the blades, growing in intensity before he swings right at Amaterasu. Lightning shoots out from the tips of the swords and heads straight for her.]
