At last count, there were four of them. They're supposed to be the ones in charge of everything going on here. But...things happened that make it look like they're working for someone or something else.

It still means that the maintainence of this city is left to them.

For them to help you leave, it's possible to make a deal with them. The trouble is, their prices are high. They deal with memories, abilities, anything you have. They can trade lives if you make the right deal. So trading for a way out shouldn't be impossible, assuming you're willing to give away something that big.

It's smarter to ignore them as a viable option. It's too unstable to rely on them.

...Mm. They do seem fairly unreliable. But I suppose I should keep them as a last resort, if everything else I attempt on my own fails. It will be difficult to find a way out of this place on my own, as I have no assistance from others -- but that is neither here nor there.

How does one get into contact with these mysterious "deities"?

There's a person here who's been gathering information about the people who've managed to find a way out. Maybe he could tell you something that would help.

You can contact them by either leaving a message on the network, or going to their office in the square.
