The Japanese have no clue how to spell names. Hence "Vaughn" in Escaflowne being spelled "Van". They do NOT pronounce it that way! It ticks me off. -.-

I'm more annoyed when fanboys/fangirls insist that "oh noes the letter 'l' DOES NOT EXIST in Japanese!" and insist on writing, say, "Arucard" for Alucard or, in Tsubasa, "Seresu" for Celes or even "Rekoruto" for Lecourt. *sighs*

Hehe, I don't even bother getting upset at those people anymore. I just think they're stupid and laugh at them. There was a really stupid wank on YouTube over a KuroFai video where some dolt kept saying things like "OMG they're not fuckin transexuals!!!" and "You can't call them gay, that's just mean!" and "Fay's in love with Chi!"
