Since having that picnic with the kids, Fay's wanted to do something like that again... something with just him and Kurogane. He had been pleasantly surprised when Kurogane suggested it earlier, and now that they're done redecorating (and messing around... paint is a wonderfully tempting thing) Fay is grabbing a few things for a small picnic and

Kurogane storms off, muttering something that sounds like 'damn stupid mage' and generally doing a good job of being a Grouchy Ninja. He returns a little later nice, clean and a little less grouchy. He winds an arm around Fai's shoulder. "Got everything you want?"

"I think so." Fay leans back against him, smiling, turning his head for a quick kiss. "Are you ready, Kuro-pon?"

"Yeah, think so." But he pauses and goes to the fridge. A generous bottle of plum wine is produced. "Got this earlier for us." It's packed away and Kurogane takes the bag. "Where'd you want to go for it?"

"Good planning, Kuro-koi." Fay smiles at him. "We can go down to the lake again... or look for somewhere new."
