I heard this from someone who listened to TOKIO Night CLUB on Saturday (my area broadcasts it on the following Wednesday, so I haven't heard it yet), but apparently Nagase said that he directed and edited the GIG DVD, even had fun with editing software and stuff. AH!! Lucky girl!!!! I can't imagine how much fun it would be to have one of our fave idols read our messages on the air. I know it happens all the time (obviously every letter that is read is from someone who has friends who squeee over it) but when it happens to people I know it's just crack! Congrats!!! Can I be forward and ask what you wrote?? I'm dying to know what kind of things they look for when they read the fan letters on air. ^___^

Radio Box actually has a lot of guys writing in to the show. Taichi takes a lot of pride in that. The show is full of corners and people write in and Taichi reads them and comments. It's a really simple concept, but it's an hour of laughs. For as long as I've been listening, mine is one of the few fangirl messages Taichi has read. Matsuoka and Nagase don't read much fangirl type mail either. The best way to get them to read your mail, send in stuff that they ask for. (^_^)

Taichi and the staff mentioned one week that they asked for mail from foreign listeners in Japan and still hadn't gotten any. So I wrote in as soon as I could and wrote a bit about where I'm from and why I live in Japan and fangirlish love in English. And he read it because they were like "We finally got a foreign listener to write in!" I put up a picture of the radio listing in the newspaper that had my mail as the title. I said I'd continue to write in to the other corners (I sent into the regular messages corner) and Taichi said to go and do that, so I plan to ( ... )

I have it on a tape. My friend just came back from Japan 2 days ago and she recorded all the member's radio shows for me. I'll "try" to find a way to rip it for you ;D

Oh...big congrats on having your mail read out by Taichi!!! (hope this congratulation didn't come too late for you...I didn't get the chance to get online in the past 2 days...)

Anyway, Nagase being the director of the GIGs DVD!?!? That piece of news really blew me away!! Wow...that makes me look forward to getting hold of the DVD all the more!!!

ps- I know I may sound a bit (too) late but in case you still haven't gotten a copy of the Taichi radio show by the time you read this, let me know. I can send it to you right away.

Taichi's been praising Nagase on his computer graphics skills, so I'm sure it'll be good. (^_^)

Thanks! I hate to say this...but it's a different show. That one was Taichi's TOKIO the Ride. My letter was on Kokubun Taichi Radio Box. The one that aired in Tokyo on October 27th. But it's still great to hear Taichi. I normally hear The Ride with lots of static since I have to try to tune into the Tokyo broadcast. Thanks again.
