She is very eager to go to a bigger event - namely the finals in November. I may have to look into some things and see if I can arrange to take her.

I think my grandmother is beyond caring who knows what she does. She likes to express her opinions and interests very loudly to anyone who will listen.

Still, 60+ year old fangirls are a wee bit frightening. ;) Especially when they really get going.

I was amazed in New York a couple of summers ago by the older fangirls. We had tickets to 'The Boy from Oz' and headed for the theater early in the hopes that malsers42 could get an autograph from Hugh Jackman.

I didn't think much about it as most of the crowd was older ladies who were calm enough and seemed quite mature, but as soon as his car pulled up they all turned into squealing, jumping, hyper teenagers. Very shocking.
