So...I have this Superman/Batman Archive that I've kept up for years now. I'm seriously thinking of just taking it down for good. I'm tired of paying for it every month, and I'm rather tired of answering email about passwords that can't be reset because Yahoo won't deliver the auto-generated password email, not even into the person's spam folder,

I completely understand where you're coming from. I've been in fandom in general for about eight years now, and I've jumped from fandom to fandom, losing interest in prior ones along the way.

If I knew anything about how websites work, and could afford it, I'd take it off your hands. If you do decide to transfer it to A03, I could help with copy/paste if you want, but that's pretty much the limits of my technical expertise, I'm sorry to say.

When something isn't fun and feels more like a noose around your neck, I don't think anyone can blame you for having to let go.

Thanks so much for the offer of help. *hugs* It's not even that it takes up so much of my time. It's just that it's there, and I have no desire to really think about it anymore. LOL But knowing me, I'll leave it up. I just don't like not knowing if there's any real utility left in maintaining it anymore.

I have similar thoughts about offpanel, but I hate seeing content vanish, so...it remains open. I've moved a bunch of stuff to AO3, but so much more remains. Perhaps someday there will be a way to move sites entirely.

As someone who has seen stories vanish, of course I think it would be pity to lose any od it. However, I also understand how interest and focus shift. Fandoms I'm in at any point in time are constantly changing.

Sadly, like dracoqueen22, I can only offer to help with copy/paste side of business. ^^;
