I like the way, in this version of the story, we don't just hear about Clark's friendship with and confessions to J'onn; instead, we get to see them interacting and behaving as really good friends.

I think one of my favourite alterations to the story, though, is the inclusion of Kyle. J'onn, as much of a friend as he is, is still a neutral, objective third party. And with Bruce behaving the way he does, Clark needs someone to be his friend, to be on his side, and I love the dynamic you write for Clark and Kyle together.

One teensy little type; when you talk about Clark and Bruce 'complimenting' each other, it should be 'complement.'

I've always wanted to write a Clark/Kyle story, to tell you the truth. I really had it in mind to drag the whole jealousy thing out for a bit longer, but I didn't really have time to go that route. I like Kyle a lot. :)

I tend to use J'onn a lot in my stories. He's interesting to me as a foil for Superman. Both are the last survivors of their race.
