Belated Happy Birthdays and Fic Offer for the Season
I've been very lax over the past few months regarding birthday wishes for people on my f-list, such as:
iris_summers, calliopes_pen, pat_t, romanyg, evangelene, trascendenza, vejiita4eva, laurapetri, pepperjackcandy, carolandtom, morganichele, bradygirl_12 ... and astrea9562 (whose birthday is today).
Happy belated birthday to everyone! Sorry for the late wishes. :)
I've never been particularly good with producing birthday fic, so my usual thing was to buy something from the LJ shop for the birthday boy or girl. But with the LJ shenanigans going on over the summer, I'm no longer sure I want to support LJ with my money the way I had in the past (or at all), so my whole birthday wishes mojo got out of wack. ;)
Anyway, I thought I'd try something different this year. I was very impressed with medie's birthday project a few months back where she wrote fic for her friends for her birthday instead of the other way around. I'm going to try a variation of the same thing, and see if I can pull it off.
My birthday is December 1st, at the start of the holiday season. Anyone interested can request two ficlets from me -- a birthday ficlet and a holiday ficlet.
I will post the fic requested starting on Dec. 1st and running through the end of the month.
So...please feel free to request two ficlets (pairing, prompt or scenario). This is open to anyone, whether or not you are on my f-list.
I'm pretty sure I can write the following pairings:
Clark/Bruce (any verse)
Clark/Bruce with Clark or Bruce/Other
Clark/Kyle Rayner (DCU)
Clark Kent/Oliver Queen (Smallville)
Clark/Lex (Smallville)
Duncan/Methos (Highlander)
Angel/Methos (Angel/Highlander Crossover)
Yohji/Aya (Weiss Kreuz)
Aragorn/Legolas (LotR)
Wolverine/Cyclops (X-Men movieverse)
Superman/Lightning Lad (LoSH animated verse)
Clark/Diana
I am also willing to try any DCU slash pairing that is not Batman/Robin or Superman/Robin, though I can't promise I can pull it off.
I will try any Young Avengers slash pairing.
I will try any DCU toonverse femslash pairing.
Of course, it would be much easier for me if you all requested....Superman/Batman fic! LOL
