The Tower is not exactly a fun card...
It is upheaval, to be sure, usually not because you choose it. It is the fire from the heavens destroying the work of man.

However... it can be liberation, as the card that directly preceeds it in the Major Arcana is the Devil, and the card that follows is the Star. Lucifer becomes the Morning Star through the Tower.

The Tower, although painful, tends to revel great spiritual truths... provided we are not too busy screaming on the way down.
