"First time." Roger nodded at the pleasant young man. "I uh, want to make someone's birthday very special and I heard this was the place."

A crime. And probably rather vile too.
But it's a paying customer, so... Jon shrugs and gives him a Guinness. "Couldn't get it warmer than that as we do keep it cold." He winks.
"A special birthday? Yes, this is definitely a place to give someone a special birthday."

"Yes, well, he uh, gave me a collar, for my birthday back in May, and well... I've commission a matching silver leash and wristband for him now."
And done it all spur of the moment, like this visit to Lucid. Roger wasn't currently wearing the collar because it was at the jeweler's in London so that Adrian's wristband would match the Pictish pattern.
"I'll give it to him tomorrow night and thought he might like to try it out someplace... like this."
