Reminder and some questions

Jan 11, 2010 11:06

Just wanted to remind everyone that Round 6B - Raw is still open for entries. There are currently only NINE (9) entries from three people. :(

Due to this, the extension is in effect until Friday, Jan 15, or we get a few more entries - whichever comes first.

To the questions... )

For me, extending the challenges works better.

I think for our fandom size and the participation level, the BDPT is fine, but with an extended time-frame. Or maybe you could do the Quarterly Challenge like at new_wonderland, but a scaled down version.

I do like the setup of comms. :D Maybe that will help generate more participation. Maybe. Or not.

You mean you don't want to crop together a whole bunch of Billy soundclips to have Garrett read his own adventures? *snicker*

O.o
Wow... even Steve is now wondering what was in the cold pill...

Longer deadlines work better for me.

I find the idea of the Quarterly Challenge for Tin Man really intriguing, especially the bingo card aspect of it. :) But having choices on genre and types makes it more of a challenge to what I'm comfortable with writing. My muse sees prompt tables as an exercise for writer's block. *Shrugs*

The only reason there was ever a limit to the genre/pairings was to try and keep the voting side neutral - as I assume.

I can understand that. But also figured it doesn't matter with the Quarterly as long as it fit the criteria of the square you're crossing off because that's what you get the points from. Did that make sense?

Agreed - you would be able to write/art whatever you wanted, because you're simply filling the set prompt of so many words, etc.

I like the quarterly thing at new_wonderland, honestly. It's much more member-driven than the set up at whedonland and the others, which are team-driven. I suck at being a member of a team, one reason I left HiH, but I do plan to make a buttload of icons for new_wonderland.

I fail at HiH so very hard....

Just initial glances at whedonland, etc., scare me... but for the team points-side, it's a nifty idea.

The quarterly is nice, too, because everyone had different strengths and that challenge lets you pick and choose what you want to do. ;)

I'm up for anything, which doesn't help you much, does it?

Longer response times are good. Sometimes it takes me a week just to remember to write something. ;)

If you want, I can totally make up a bingo card for TM. Just say the word.

It does seem that extending the time is the way to go...

I was going to ask you about that, actually.... We shall see...

All I need is a list of tasks and what background you want to use.
