[tm_rogue]

Rachel was gone. Had left Disney in a hurry and while Rogue knew that was a good thing--since her friend was going to see the doctor--she couldn't help but shake her concern. Her friend was, well--losing it. And there wasn't anything to be done about it. Right?

Well, except, maybe it'd be easier if Rachel was with her? Ray did say she felt happy

"No. Anna. Look at me. Right now. I know what you promised. To let me know, where you are going. You are not going to her. If you leave, even if you tell me where you are going..." he didn't want to say the next part, but he had to. Her safety was the most important thing. "If you leave, even with a note, I will consider it desertion. Do you understand me, Anna?"

He meant that, not just as Magneto, but as Erik, too.

Rogue froze. And desertion would mean we're through. "This ain't right." She pushed at him, falling back on the bed. Burying her face in the pillow. Crying softly.

"Erik..." She sniffled, and looked over at him. Seeing no sympathy in his face. "Fine." She pushed herself up. Glaring.

"I'll be a good soldier. There. Happy?" she growled, crossing her arms. Agitated.

"Yes," Erik snapped, straightened. "Because you will be alive. I know you are angry with me. But I won't have you hurt. I promised when you joined my Brotherhood, I would keep you safe. I cannot help it if you don't recognize the danger for what it is."

He looked at her. "I am not saying you cannot speak to her. I am saying, no running off for any reason. I don't think that is too much, for a general to ask a soldier--or for me to ask my lover. Do you? Do you think I am being a tyrant?"

Rogue frowned, pushing hair out of her face. Feeling stubborn. "I think you're bein' a real ass. That's what I think." She jutted out her chin, eyes narrowed. Baring her teeth. Also think you're right but hell if'n I'm gonna say that.

"Maybe. But I'll keep you alive. You are too important to me." He found himself smiling slightly. "You will obey me, won't you?" Erik began backing up, forcing her to do the same. Her back hit the wall next to their king-sized bed. He pressed her against the wall with her body. "I have chosen well. You are angry with me, yet I know you will obey." He leaned down, breathing slowly against her neck. Not kissing, but caressing her with his breath. "Such a good soldier."

"An' you are a smug bastard." She snapped at him, still very much annoyed. She wouldn't look at him, trying to ignore the way her breath caught with his slow caress. "Damn you."

"I am indeed. But you make it so easy." He pulled away. "If you do not want my attentions, I shall bother you with them later." Erik smirked at her, then winked. "If you're good."

Rogue leaned forward, kissing him long and hard. Letting her power tug. She pulled back, smirking. "If'n I let ya," she replied, flipping her hair and walked past, grabbing her purse.

"Ah, Anna. If anyone wonders what I see in you, they should see this slightly evil streak you have. You make me look heroic." He threw back his head and laughed as she glared at him. "Let's go enjoy our vacation before it is over and we are wanted fugitives soon."

"Yeah yeah yeah. Mystique's daughter, you know. Its amazin' how easily people forget that." Rogue grinned, linking her arm with his. "I almost miss it. Bein' wanted. Its just damn weird bein' around all these SHIELD agents without them tryin' ta do somethin'."

She shivered. "Kinda creepy."

"Don't put anything past them," Erik muttered darkly. "I'm not." He led her to the elevator. He made it skip three floors, then he made the elevator skip all the floors on the way down.

He was still Magneto, after all.

Rogue laughed, leaning against him. "You sure are useful, sugah." She grinned, attempting to forget about their previous conversation. They'd make this work somehow. We got to.

She clasped his hand, tugging him towards the monorail. Kissing him when they boarded. "I love you," she murmured, pulling back. Running her fingers through his hair. "Even when I am mad at ya."

Erik smiled at her. "Keep that in mind," he said, unable to keep the ominous tone completely out of his voice. They got in line for the monorail, and Erik pretended, for a few seconds, that everything was normal, and they were tourists, and nothing at all was wrong.
