Argh! I thought you were going to be here next weekend, not Labor Day! I'm heading up to Chicago on Saturday, and will be back on Monday.

Maybe dinner or something Friday night?

Well, Labor Day isn't until September 7th. You're leaving for Chicago on the 29th?

So, yeah, tell me what and when and where. I live a lot closer to your folks' now, so while it isn't as pretty as my parents' place, you are still welcome here at any time.

Also, since it isn't next weekend, I won't pester you to go to the fair (because I think it will be over, but obvs. I have no concept of time right now) to see the baby animals. BABY ANIMALS!!

No, the State Fair ends on the 23rd. Bummer.
