[There's what looks like a fancy race car driving around the grounds of the mansion right now. Not at incredibly high speeds, no; in fact, from the way it's being driven, one might assume that its driver is scoping the place out from in there, taking a look at things ( Read more... )

> You were surprised to notice a car driving around in the snow. It must have pretty awesome SNOW TIRES, you figure.

Though it looks pretty damn awesome and you'd be a fool to let a cool car like that just drive by so you abandon your current idea of using your DECK OF CARDS as a SLED and trump through the snow from behind for now.

[Blurr isn't exactly sure what's following him; he can't even tell whether it's organic or not from here. It's probably better to be cautious. He doesn't speed up, but doesn't slow down either, just... still driving away from it.]

> You decide to walk around the opposite side of the mansion then, trying to look like you're going to go inside. Going in is honestly tempting considering it's cold enough to make you wish you had a heater like that car probably does.

Though that doesn't stop you from stalking it. You just walk around the building and wait around one of the corners to run out and jump the car if it comes by close enough.

[Good. The creature, technological or organic, seems to be going back inside, which is much better than just following him around for no reason that he can figure out. He's free to continue combing the grounds, learning the layout and trying to figure out whatever he can about his current location from first using this method.]

*Have a thoroughly confused Masky standing on the edge of the forest. He hasn't seen any cars since he got here and really doesn't want to get hit by one. He's debating whether he should go back to the forest or make a mad dash for the mansion.*

[Masky doesn't need to worry! The car isn't going to head for him, and its driver doesn't appear to be interested in heading for the forest. Just looking around the mansion's grounds, familiarizing himself with it. Blurr's trying to see and take note of everything he can.

He does notice the person standing in front of the forest, but doesn't head for him. There do appear to be quite a few people living here; this must just be another one of them.]

I apologize. He's normally not this cracked out. timisnotme January 21 2011, 17:38:34 UTC
*Mad dash for the mansion it is! Until he gets caught in Blurr's headlights, panics, runs randomly in a circle and dives into a shrub for protection*

[ There's yet another person out and about. A certain feeling urges him to look behind him, where he sees the car coincidentally heading in the same direction. He stops walking and positions himself so that he can watch the vehicle from a respectable distance as it passes (like a pedestrian waiting to cross the street), if the "driver" chooses to continue down that path. Because that is a beautiful car. ]

[ He slows, but continues along the same path. Of course, he'll pass at a bit of a distance, so the boy can't see past the darkened glass, and will speed up again once he's safely past. If things work out that way, of course. ]

[ The windows being tinted so darkly is suspicious. He takes no action, however, as he watches the car depart. ]

. . . Now, who could be in it?

[ It's a question he decides he'll ponder. Meanwhile, seeing as how it's no particular business of his, he heads back inside. He'll be watching you, car. ]

> One might notice after some time that there is a slightly heavier feel on one of his likely nicely leathered seats. Sitting in said seat was a man dressed in white that was more pristine than the SNOW outside of the vehicle.

His hands were lightly folded in his lap, which was crossed in a casual manner, and he was even wearing his seatbelt as he glanced out the passenger-side window.

"It's certainly roomier in here than one would think looking in from the outside, isn't it?" He says, casually.

[Someone who lives in a yurt on the ground is a little confused to see this strange vehicle wandering around.]
