janviere inspired me to post a little update so you folks on livejournal can know the big things that are going on with me these days. I think that, really, I owe many people phone calls (or you can call me! :)

I defend my thesis on Thursday, and loving tall_saul is going to come to cheer me on. Hopefully it is a defensible thesis! Then I move to Germany, to a ( Read more... )

Hello! OMG, defence! Germany (where?)! Single! So many things! So much news!

All I have is an almost-1yo, walking baby. :D

OMG I know! I think you and I are due for another skype date to seriously catch up. Also, I'd love to see me some walking. When I last saw her, she was all cute and pretty, but definitely still at the slug phase.

Looks exciting, but my goodness it's hard not to feel inadequate next to his resume. He's less than a year older than I am! XD

Good luck on Thursday! I'll be en route to PA so I may not get to check in until I get back or maybe N can tell me if you post any updates. He's staying in IL while the twins & I drive to PA to see Grandpa.

Oooh and maybe we'll get to see you in Germany if N ends up doing a sabbatical in Europe. Is the postdoc a year?

Sorry to hear that you're single but new experiences (especially with fungi....I think...) are wonderful!
