I'm really sorry to hear about that! That is a horrible incident, minor though it may be. I myself am 22, and at that point where I am questioning my sexuality, but my own spiritual beliefs and faith is interfering with that. Don't be embarrassed at all to hold hands with someone whom you love. THAT is the greatest gift that one could recieve in this world: loving someone for who they are and for being there for you. Fear comes from being Niave, and fear of the act/person only increases fear of the thing itself. Congradulations for taking it so well! It pleases me to know that there are many people in this world who are happy with themselves and are not afraid to show it ( ... )

Ron--

Being over 50 one tends to start to mellow I guess. Yeah, some people can deffinitly be hypocrites...but if they aren't actually used to seeing something then it's kind of understandable to do something slightly, um, rude. I mean, to this day, I see someone without a leg, or with some type of deformity and I catch my self stairing...don't mean to, and when I realize I'm doing it I quickly stop...but it's just human nature I guess. I figure the more people are exposed to what freaks them out the more they'll learn to deal with it.

**Author's Note** Don't forget this is all fiction. I know you don't have a LJ account, so you probably didn't realize this before hand...hope that doesn't make you feel cheated or anything...there really are people out there like the ones in my LJ...if you want more information on the story just check out my userinfo page and you'll get the idea of what I mean by this being all fiction. Take care...and if you do get an LJ account don't hesitate to stop by :O)

After a story is told petrajohanna June 26 2005, 11:56:10 UTC
There is a truth in every film produced, there is reality in every corner of a script, there is a fine art in getting people to actually feel a story to come to life, i believe this is very well done

it may take you a step further in actually publishing your story/ies ie
