I have accidentally discovered that drinking coffee makes me sleepy. When this theory began to occur to me, through trial and error really, I googled it (of course I did.) Turns out that drinking coffee has the same kind of effect of eating a lot of sugar - you may get a temporary jolt from it but you'll crash if that's how your metabolism handles ( Read more... )

it's all about me, rants about nothing important!

I never drank coffee until about a year ago. Mainly because all coffee was overpriced or tar. Then I found light roast and I was a goner. However I think if I ever get of the moonlight shifts, and back to the sun like most people, I'll stop.

I found coffee, like my tea, I HATE cold. Yep no iced coffee or tea. It tastes funny to me.

I am odd, or maybe not, caffeine drinks like soda, don't even give me a jolt. I use to drink bottles of it, but now I'll do a root beer once in a great while.

Maybe your skin is younger than the rest of you?

I LOVE COFFEE! Love it hot, love it cold, love it flavored....yes I LOVE coffee!

If I drink too much the caffeine gives me a rapid hearbeat so I watch how much regular coffee I have and switch to decaf during the day. I can drink the regular any time and it doesn't make me sleepy or keep me awake.

The fun of being a woman and having hormones that like to make themselves known!

Let me just say, everything that you mentioned is something I'm experiencing right now.

I recently picked up the habit of drinking coffee (only 3 days a week when I go to the courthouse), but the last week or so, my face has broken out. I thought it was because of the coffee because I never drink the stuff and for the last 2 months or so, I have. Then bam! period started last Saturday! UGH!

Never heard of coffee rebound, interesting. Definitely we are all different-- if I drink it after about 8pm there is the chance I won't sleep at all that night. It's happened- I just gave up at 5am and got up and went to work!

And hate to tell ya but my gram occasionally got pimples into her 80s. No kidding.

I have cut coffee from my life. It was making me very ill. Though I will still drink a small amount if I feel a migraine starting to kick in.

I won't drink decaf... it's icky to my taste buds.

I break out fairly regularly, but mine is from allergies. My sister breaks out around her hair line. (Not allergy induced.) so, it's not all that unheard of. Doesn't mean it's not annoying though.

I am melting, but finally healing.
