I think you've got the characters spot-on, and it's such an awesome mix of drama and a bit of humour (Chin and Kono's discussion if the boys are sleeping together? pure gold!). Can't wait to read part 2 (and am really annoyed that I won't be able to do that until later tonight, am off to the cinema now. But hey, if the movie sucks I've got something to look forward to).
