I don't know how I managed to miss this whole thing, but I did! Someone stole another story! OMG! But that does kind of show how good your writing is, that people think enough of it to steal it. Maybe? But real people know you wouldn't do such a thing.

Thank you! It's hard for me to believe that anyone would think they could get away with stealing my story. Especially since I have 76 stories posted and she has one which isn't even hers!!!

is it bad that I want to leave a comment as H50Fan saying:

"I checked out the other story and this is a fake. I'm sorry T'Key'la that your story was stolen."

because you know, H50Fan is defending the author who stole it and I have a feeling that it's just the author logging out of their account and leaving a comment like that.

so say this person did go on a "long vacation" this is October you posted in September (right?), summer was June/July/August, I don't think anyone can afford to take 3 month vacations anymore, and if they can, I hardly think they'd be writing fanfic.

Yeah, I was curious about the really long vacation too.

The only comment I've gotten on my story is that it was stolen by this other person.

I've been out of the loop for a few days. Man, this sucks! Maybe you should take everything down from ff.net. I can't believe that not only has it happened again, but the other person is claiming she wrote it first. That's horrible and awful. Makes you want to slap the sh*t out of that person.

Imitation is the best form of flattery, but stealing someone's work and putting your name on it is cowardly, unimaginative, and slimy.

We know you wrote the story.

Hope this incident doesn't totally ruin your day.

I've considered taking down everything from Fanfiction but for better or worse, I have quite a few followers on there. And I don't want to be run off. That makes it feel like the plagiarizers are winning.

It annoys me that she did this but it isn't a day ruiner by any means!

Thank you so much!!! I had a moment of panic where I was afraid people would think I had stolen it but that has since passed. I know anyone who reads my stories knows my work when they see it, no matter whose name is on it.

You shouldn't have to provide proof that the story is yours. She should have to show the proof.

I am getting more and more tempted to post this to stop_plagiarism on your behalf. Cause really? This biatch really does have a set of brass balls the size of King Kong.

I haven't reported it to stop-plagarism yet but I'm going to. I don't know that it will help but at least I'll alert them that it's happening.
