I keep copies of my notifications, but that isn't the point if LJ pushes this through. I can't understand why they'd want to decimate their fan base after the recent fiascos, but you never know with them.

It's not that they'd want to, but there was concern that the tool they started using for links in August seemed to be the problem. But if things stay stable, it means it's fixed without trouble. *crosses fingers*
