Good. Because there's plenty of dark in having to pick up the pieces of your and your spouse's life with what you have already. And punishing the evil-doers and the Idiot could show plenty of the Doctor's darkness. Just saying.

I CRIED with River getting her new memories. honestly cried. beautiful ending for a beautiful series. I can't believe it's over.
BRILLIANT, seriously. and Melody talking with her was a gorgeous touch, I hadn't expected this, that the last chapter was from River's POV, brilliant. BRILLIANT.

Lovely. And not sad. =) Okay, there was a tear or two (or forty) when River got her new memories, but they were happy tears. So a happy sad kind of thing. If that exists...

I am sad that it's over, but it was a great ending. Brought it all the way around, beautifully done.

I'm hoping anyone who cries over this cries happy tears. Yeah, I think a happy yet sad kind of ending seems fitting within Doctor Who.

Brilliant ending! This series was amazing! I can just see the Doctor with a little ginger girl. I have to admit I teared up when Melody got her new memories. I'm glad that River had Joshua and Ella in the computer world with her.
