It's tricky to watch "Doctor Who" when you're as logically-minded as I am. And believe me, I spent quite a bit of this episode having WTF moments. Yet it was very hard-hitting.

My sons kept complaining it was too slow. And most of the time I had to agree with them.
They spoilt the ending by dragging Clara into it; but then I'd expected them to do so. Yes, "rude" was the word that came to my mind but for different reasons.
Maybe that's why the WTF moments bothered me so much. I had time to think about them while watching. Not a good combination. Makes me want to do an Honest Trailer version. :)
My biggest qualm with that? If Ten had to die with Donna still mind-wiped, then Clara could remain forgotten. And River needs to remain dead. If still forgetting Clara was "rude" then not fixing Donna while having a face chosen because of her is unforgivable.
