I laughed when the Brigadier was put out that he can't call the Doctor 'Dewar boy' anymore. :D

A little arrogant of David to think that his patients would be worse off if he wasn't there. All doctors are trained to same high quality. For a doctor to say differently is to insult them all. The only doctors not trained to the same quality and standard are the on-call (out-of-hours) GP locums. And, dare I say it, a lot of them are still non-English-speaking foreign-trained doctors. So that part is out of character and out of line.

Oh that is one hell of a cliffie. Runs off for the next chapter...

Well, it did dawn on me that that nickname wasn't going to work anymore. Not until... a while.

*cringes* I went back and deleted one line out of that paragraph. Does it make it better?

It was going to end on a different cliffie, but I thought this one was more... effective.

True. *giggles*

Much better. It just isn't the thinking of doctors. Not in Britain, anyway.

It is an evil cliffie. Definitely effective. I love it. :D
