Around July 16th, my big brother Jesse had a minor heart attack. It wasn't that serious...shortness of breath, tightness in the chest, all the usual. We got him to the hospital for treatment and after some testing, it was discovered he had an infection in his heart and arteries which was slowly deteriorating the interior walls. I am so sorry to hear of your big brother's sudden decline in health and passing.

It's nice to see you are being strong and present for your family as I know they will need you in the coming days and weeks ahead. To answer your question above, however, you wrote this journal to instinctively reach out. No one can go it alone, or if one thinks they can they're not being truthful to themselves or others. It's also not surprising to hear you say you are not your usual waggy self. Having recently dealt with the loss of close family members, I can relate completely, and know that it may take some time for your tail to wag once again.

Know that I will continue to be thinking about you in the good, not so good, and bad times, and if you should need someone to talk to or visit please don' hesitate to contact me. Okay?

Man, what a loss and a crazy way to go. I've been more than a bit behind in seeing what's on social media lately due to my own challenges the past few months, and I had no idea you're going through this. I tend not to share when I am going through rough times. I wouldn't even have shared it if my mother didn't ask me to make the GoFundMe for her. I'm pretty much done trying to help make funds for family. Besides, only a pawful of people read LJ and I don't wanna directly ask folks anymore, even if it isn't for me.
