I need to take a vacation. Alone. Away from everybody and everything. I've been feeling so unhinged and depressed lately. I want to be irresponsible and take my tax return money when I get it and go somewhere far away, by myself.

But I won't. Because I need every single cent I can get.

Same here. I just need to get away, only if for a couple of days. Sadly I don't have the extra money for that. :(

It sucks. Like, I really shouldn't be using any tax refund I get on a vacation but it's so hard to resist when I feel this shitty...

Sometimes life can really wear you down just by...being life. When I get to feeling like that, I take a day for myself. I do what I want to do when I want to do it. (More often than not I end up at the park or the zoo or museum hopping. Headphones in, world tuned out, mind focused on finding shiny things to love.)

Yeah, it's nice to distract yourself from the "ugh"-ness of life. I especially want to because lately I am just never alone and for an introvert like myself it's driving me CRAZY.

I was going to make a comment saying that I "know how you feel" but I then I felt like that was kind of bullshit because we're both in completely different boats here and saying that would be stupid. but I do hope that at some point you actually do get a chance to have some kind of vacation because I definitely think you need it.
