Tim raised his hands into the air before slowly bending down and placing his visible weapon on the ground. The man before him was clearly unstable as he muttered threats that if there was one wrong move, he wouldn’t hesitate to shoot the woman he held hostage.
The woman was crying and nearly hysterical, but Tim met her gaze with reassuring eyes as he addressed the man, “We all know that if people start shooting, both me and the hostage would get caught in the crossfire and no one wants that.”
The man sneered, “Where the hell is my transport?”
