Hoggywarty has been pretty much a recurring gold mine for me. Most of the other fests going around, I wind up reading one or two fics, if that. (Although part of this is because few people write pairings I'm much interested in these days, it seems. E.g. I don't dislike Harry/Draco or Harry/Severus as such, but the pairing alone isn't going to grab me; there needs to be something else that does. OTOH I do dislike Hermione/Severus as such and there seems to be a lot of that that I pass by!) But Hoggywarty, while I don't read everything, I read quite a respectable percentage of it, probably at least half at a guess.

Yeah, I have a hard time reading an entire fests worth of one pairing. Which is why I don't participate in them (besides there are few pairings out there these days that have fests that I write) because I like to really make an effort to read as much as I can of any fest I participate in. It's the right thing to do, I believe.
