No officer, I didn't.

So I'm turning out of Alberto's Arsenio's after picking up breakfast some strange chorizo burritos because they messed up my order.  Note, I went through the drive-thru, where I have to unbuckle to get at my wallet.  What happens not five seconds after I get on the road?  Two flashing lights: one red, one blue; pop up behind ( Read more... )

I feel your pain, but in the scheme of traffic violations, you should count your blessings. At least it doesnt go on your record.

My ticket for 65 in a 55, cost $300 and raised my insurance $800 a year for three years...

Total cost of 10 mph of speeding: $3000 including the interest bump on my insurance.

Total cost of not wearing seatbelt: $60.

That does suck, but I would take the seatbelt violation anyday. But this whole thing where they camp out next to fast food restaraunts to nag violators who took out a wallet, but havent put the seatbelt back on is bullshit.

Continuing with the "It could be worse" theme...
My little sister was pulled over for not wearing her seatbelt(she never wears hers though and still doesn't). Except she had also failed to renew her license, her truck wasn't currently registered and she had no insurance. Her ticket's about $1,200.
