Ahh. Well, I guess I need to start writing at a more prodigious rate then =p

As for what happens next in the story... that's left to the reader. The uncertainty is intended as Nathan himself doesn't know.

What more would I like to see? You ended in such a way that it's obvious that you left your readers wanting more. I want to see if he calls Emily... if he gives up on Valerie.. if Valerie realizes what's in front of her....

As for whether he calls Emily or gives up on Valerie... Nathan himself doesn't know, so that ambiguity is intended.

As for Valerie and her perception or lack thereof, I think I'm going to have to add another scene to clarify that. Somewhere.

I was wondering... did you recognize this at all?
