These earbuds headphones are actually quite good.

I've got a second copy of Shawshank now (it's the original unspecial edition) but if you need one, we can arrange something :)

As for needing to read books ... I believe I am the king. Someday I shall make a list of all the ones I own, but have never opened. :)

Hey Kirk,

Thanks but no thanks. I have 3 copies of that weird peasoup/yellow book plus a copy of the accompanying (optional?) blue grammar text. However the textbook in the bookstore isn't either one of these. So I think i'm going to hold out until class to confirm/disprove with the Prof. whether or not these texts I have are valid.

Thank you for the offer tho

The texts I have been allowed to choose, listed above, relate to the Candidacy Process for Rostered Leadership in the ELCA, of which I am currently involved.
So, if you don't mind getting me up to speed a little... you are at Dana College in order to become a pastor? DCE? Does Dana have a seminary, or is this pre-sem?

Sounds like it will be an interesting semester. I was especially fascinated by the Leo Tolstoy statement above, I would like to look into that a little more myself. Good luck!

First things first...

No i'm not at Dana College to become a Pastor. It's not supposed to be funny, however I find the theoretical idea that this would be an institution that ordains people for the service of the church, quite laughable.

Anyways, within the ELCA (of which I am a member), one must take part in a Candidacy Process. Wherein various criteria are evaluated for the course of one's ~year before entering into Seminary (a master's degree program) and all the way until they complete their seminary education.

So i'm just starting the Candidacy Process. I guess the short answer was that it's a pre-sem program I'm in right now. Just pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Religion.

Classes start next Monday. I'm actually eager as I'm bored off my arse.
:)
