A friend sent me what I assumed to be a silly chain letter, the type that says "pass me on or you will suffer DOOM!!", but I actually think what it has to say makes a lot of sense, so rather than post it on by email, thought I'd put it up here.

1 Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully

*snorfle* Nice one.

TJ: Yes, over all a good list; why are so many otherwise sensible email 'thoughts' spoiled by the demand to pass them on, often with threats of suffering if not obeyed, or at the very least hints that one will lose out on some 'blessing'. The annoyance at the end of the message tends to cancel out the benefits of the thoughtfulness within. I like your solution.

By the way, having worked out who you are, I thought I'd just pop over to say 'hi'. Of course, you probably haven't the foggiest who I am...
