"No," Neal negated.
"Hm. An animal psychologist."
Neal gave him a look. "Are you serious?"
"Okay. A dressmaker."
"You really suck at guessing."
"And you won't help steer me on the right track."
"For good reason."
Peter sighed. "You already told me your father was a cop. Why can't you tell me what your mother did for a living?"
Neal smiled a nontransparent smile. "Now, where would be the fun in that?"
"Fun? Who says this is supposed to be fun?" Peter grumbled. Then his face lit up. "Oh, I know! A hairdresser!"
Neal just groaned.
