i understand the choice of locking, even just to avoid any sort of problems from "outside", that's really ok.
what i really do not understand is why readers seem to "attack" writers, on a personal level. comment the work, ok. even critizise, as long as you can stay respectful. but why offend a person?
again..
i thought BBM had thought us to be respectful, to care.
i wish for all of us that we can continue like this, without hurt people having to leave this - for me - wonderful place called BBM fandom.

Hey. I understand your frustration but if you don't know what is actually going on, well it's best not to make assumptions.

Jess has never made any statements saying it was flaming comments that caused her to leave the fandom.

It's all kinds of painful though and I know how you are feeling but really, you don't know that circumstances underlying the event.

You're right though, in that the spirit of BBM and peace should be the most important thing, overall. :)Best wishes to you.

please.. i surely had no intention to make assumptions, because my "anger" was not just because of jess...
this is a thing that goes on for some time now, and i just feel sorry about it.
so, i really didn't want to enter in some personal space - exactly the contrary.
i admire all writers here, i really do. and i think and wish they all deserve being respected and loved for what they do.

There will always be people who leave abusive comments.. To me, I don't understand why they do it. Perhaps jealousy??? I'll never understand it.

The writing is here to be shared. I knowyou posted this last year - but the problems will still go on :(
