To wit: My advisor e-mailed me today and told me I got an A on my thesis. He also had a bunch of comments, both positive and critiquish (the latter having to do with some organizational issues, a couple of iffy translations, and my sub-par citation skillz0rz when dealing with sources in other languages -- apparently I capitalize too much). Aw, thanks! :) I'd love to get the fellowship (of course), but I'm not holding my breath at this point. Oh well, we shall see!

Wow, that's somehigh praise!

Is there any chance you'd let me read a copy? I have a lot of trouble writing papers, but I am convinced that reading more, good stuff by my peers would help.

Sure, I'd be happy to let you read it. I could either send you an electronic copy or put a hard copy in your folder. (If I send it through e-mail, there's a special font you need to read the transliterations. I could send you that as well.)

Hey, could I take a look at it too? =) I hope you don't mind me asking, but I'd also like to read it to see a good example of a real paper. It'll be my time to write one in the not so distant future! Plus, I just love anything on Egypt...hehe
