Excellent. Just put my S2 and S2DT on the priority list. The S2 is painfully slow, the S2DT not so much.

I guess those of us that spent 700 dollars on a Tivo don't get priority anything...

There are FAR more Series2 units in the field than S3/HD units. And the S2 last got an update with 9.1 - they didn't get 9.2 which already has a number of updates. So it makes perfect sense for the S2 to get 9.3 first, they've gone the longest without an update and it is a larger customer base to address.

9.2 wasn't very exciting...

I would think they would want to wow people with their new cool HD type features in order to get S2 folks to move to HD. But then again, I think its stupid to not have the same code base across their products.

They do have the same codebase across the S2, S3, & HD. But there are hardware differences so they don't run the exact same code, just compiled from the same codebase. 9.3 is coming for the S3 & HD, it is still in testing. But 9.3 is really a bug-fix and performance update, so there isn't anything in there to 'wow' anyone on the S3/HD compared to 9.2.
