And what issues are those? That's rather vague.

There have been a number of little things reported on 7.3, there is a thread over in TiVoCommunity.com about it. Mostly UI glitches - 'Clear' won't delete a recording in the TDL list, you have to go into the recording description to cancel it. Things like that. TiVo never really relases a list of changes in each release, so there is no list of just what is fixed. It just looks like a bugfix release to fix some/all of the issues in 7.3.

KidZone was the only real addition in 7.3, right?

Multi Item Delete was also listed as a new feature. You could mark several items as deleted at once. I just hope this fixes the slowness of the guide. On my HUMAX DVD Recorder TiVo it takes about 5 seconds for the guide to come up.

Not sure if this was a bug or not, but we recently had some channel changes that were not correct. We had to go back in and setup via the channel list...

If you mean a lineup change, no, that wouldn't be a bug, that's guide data.

It's guide data, but doesn't Tivo determine that a lineup change is necessary? Once I did the guided setup again, it worked fine.

If the service provider (cable, sat, etc) reports a change to Tribune Media Services, then that is propigated to all their customers, including TiVo. TiVo just passes on the data they're given by TMS, which they get from the carriers.

I say again...YAY!

Been out of pocket for a few days for a move, still need to set the TiVo back up and go through guided setup, but this is wonderful news!

tivo will not admit it but all of the problems is a software glitch with the 7.3.1 software. when you call and inquire about it they send you to the manufacturer who is humax, for hardware problems. leave it to tivo to pass the buck.
