LOL I love how a stripper would influence your decision on attending the stag night :D That made me laugh.

Sounds like you've got a whole lot of things planned jobs and study wise. Sending you oodles of best wishes for your interview!

The absence or presence of a stripper is an important bit of information :P

Thanks for the best wishes :D

Wow...that's awesome about being your bro's best man.

Sounds like you have your plans and back up plans and back up back up plans all mapped out. Sending you tons of good vibes that things will work out for the best!

Yeah...I was surprised as well as touched. I'm care a lot about all my brothers, but sometimes I forget that they probably think the same thing about me.

I like plans...plans are good. And thanks for the good vibes :)

Good luck with the interview!

At this rate, everyone I know is going to be at the OU at the same time. :-)

The OU rocks. I think work based and self-directed learning is the way forward. University is becoming more and more about the experience and less about the education. I don't need the University experience. I just want the education. The OU is a way of doing that.

And thank :D

The OU, like the BBC, is one of those things this country ought to be really very proud of.

I had the "University Experience" and it wasn't really my thing even at 18 (apart from the living away from my parents aspect.)

However, with the OU, I can pick up some more random education to kick my mind out of the stagnating hole it's got stuck in doing dull stuff that pays bills.

I empathize completely about the paycheck to paycheck style of living. It's tiresome, and I think education is a good way to get out of that trap. I hope the interview goes well. As far as the wedding is concerned, it'll be great. :-)

Education definitely helps with the paycheck-to-paycheck style of life, but it's not the cure-all it once was, sadly.

No, I already have a degree, but I've got stuck in the trap of an education in one area and all my work experience being in another, specifically social work and I need that professional qualification to go any further.

Thank you :D And yes...a lack of financial freedom becomes very wearing, very quickly.

Awesome. I've been a bridesmaid almost a dozen times, but never a best man! You go!

And good luck with the interview; I hope it all works out for you.
