I really want to get a paid LJ account and I need help convincing my parents to let me get one. Does anyone have any ideas they'd care to share? For those of you that have paid accounts, do you do a yearly or monthly thing? I really want those 100 icons! They are my driving force in getting the paid account. I have a one year paid account. I bought my own, so I really don't know how to convince the parentals. You can just tell them how importatnt it is to you, and that your life is Lj. Hehe. Hey, you never know.

I will be paying them back for it, but I don't think my mom wants to pull out her credit card for this. She doesn't seem to understand and my brother is basically telling me how stupid I am for wanting the paid account.

Thanks for the advice. It's very hard for me to be gentle about things like this though. Maybe I'll do chores around the house, try to be nicer and then ask. That'll soften them up a little!

I have a a lot of time left on my account I can sell you real cheap. We can do it by paypal. That'd make them feel better. You can get it for cheaper. It's almost a full year. maybe 3 months shorts. I got a permanent account so I don't need it. You'd keep your name though. Lemme know.

I might be interested but I have a few questions. How do I use paypal? How would I keep my name? Would it be transferred over? I'm just a little confused about how it would work. Also, how much would you be selling it for?
