sitting in the dc airport waiting for my flight to Hartford. Its Dulles, so there's nothing to look at. I smell something that reminds me of the Bronx zoo monkey house, I hope its not me. The gift shop here sells "1.20.09-- bush's last day in office" tees. They even hate him that much here ? Awesome.

We were so close by each other! That airport really does suck; however, I did once get to take a tour of the roof of the control tower at like 2 a.m. and you can actually see all of the District, VA and Maryland and it is so beautiful.

about the only neat thing i saw during my 6 plane rides was the last leg- we flew over the grand canyon between denver and burbank. that was, as cheesy as it sounds, really awe-inspiring and helped me remember how neat this country actually is.
