[ooc] Todash notes
Muffin balls taste yummy! And can cause people to go Todash.
The night after consuming the muffin balls you will have vivid dreams. So vivid in fact, you might dream yourself somewhere else. It’s not actually a dream, part of you (your spirit, soul, whatever you want to call it) will actually travel there. You can go to your world or the world of someone you’re close to. You can appear any time in your past present or future. More up on that tomorrow.
Going Todash means you will have a real out of body experience. Most of you will be transported either to your world or to the world of someone you know. Generally you will go there with them, as people who are close emotionally and/or physically will go Todash together.
You will start out hearing very loud chimes and everything around you will be black. The chimes are beautiful, but they are loud enough to rattle your skull and drive you mad if you listen too long. Then you will find yourself in another world. This can either be the past, present or future of your world or someone you’re traveling with.
While Todash you will be invisible to the people around you. They can’t see you, but they will walk around you on the street as if you were there. You cannot physically interact with anyone except other people who are Todash and you can only interact with the environment in limited ways (for example, you can walk up stairs or touch walls, but you cannot open closed doors).
Things will look strange wherever you go, especially in your world. Nothing seems quite right in Todash, even if everything is physically okay. It's just part of being there out of body.
While Todash you may also see the walking dead. They are people who are technically dead but either do not know they’ve died or refuse to accept it and move on. They are generally harmless, and it’s best if you ignore them. If for some reason you would like to fight with one, please ping Cuthbert or Alain on IRC and we will arrange it.
