Then he eased himself down onto Sam’s chest, snug beneath his chin - as if he’d fitted there through all their days together, and always would. Oh happy happy sigh! It's all those words Mews said, just perfect for Valentine's Day!
Yay, you posted! Sorry I missed you earlier--I went to a friend's for dinner and saw your message when I got home (well past pumpkin time). Have I mentioned lately how much I love this story? *sighs happily for not-too-loud-but-very-enthusiastic!Frodo* Hope to catch you next weekend! Hope to have Mama & Mrs W ready for you by then... *squishes you*
What a lovely chapter. I was thrilled, but not surprised that Sam won the Best Exhibit in Show, but was happiest that Frodo and Sam found a place where they could finally express their love for each other in (relative) privacy. The last line was perfect.
Oh Tiriel, this was soooo worth the wait. Their first time was sooooo full of love and yet filled with a hotness that was amazing and I especially loved the "I love you at the end" followed by this: as though Sam must know it well already and this no more than a quick reminder to settle them, here. Then he eased himself down onto Sam’s chest, snug beneath his chin - as if he’d fitted there through all their days together, and always would.
For the seasoned F/S fan that is of course obvious, too, but I love that Frodo feels that way - so secure in the knowledge of their love and how they simply are perfect for each other.
Loved this muchly and I think I want to start reading this fic right from the beginning to here again - and now that I travel on the tram again a lot I might actually do it!!! :)))
Thank you! This made me very happy and I can't wait for the next chapter!!! *squishes*
Sorry to be so late - yet again… Panic stations just doesn’t do justice to my mad, perfectionist scramble to bring GAFFS to its close. I needed my belated Christmas with Gill, but the timing was terrible. And now that it is complete, of course, I feel as though I have lost a friend who was always there, waiting for me in the heart of my writing. *sobs* *clears throat* How pathetic!
I’m so pleased you enjoyed the chapter - I just hope the last lives up to expectation when you have time to read. You’ll recognise the Bilbo-WW input to some degree - it’s thanks to you that the core of it was saved, after all! I think you may find rather more foreplay in and amongst now, than there was way back then!
Mail soon - I have had a chapter of HoC "ready to post" for seemingly ever and I really have to cease this existential idiocy and let it go!
