After the Izzard show (which was fabulous, by the way), I was driving home on Laurel Canyon, and I swear I think I saw a dead guy in the opposing lane just south of Lookout Mountain... I guess it could have been a pile of clothes or a trick of the light or something, but it really really looked like a dead guy, completely sprawled out, like either

it's not weird that you didn't want to see some unfortunate person lying in the road. i think you did the right/responsible thing by calling the paramedics.

Yeah, you remember how I freaked out when I hit just a cat! I didn't hit anything this time, but yeah, I don't do well with dead stuff.... hopefully I was wrong and I just wasted everybody's time, but no one was hurt or dead or anything.
